More people are on health/disability benefits because more people are ill. & they’re iller for longer because:
A. Getting treatment is hard & takes ages.
B. We trap them in abject poverty.
NOT because health/disability benefits are too easy to get or too generous. 1/2

She's not on benefits, in fact the govt delayed her pension for 6 years at a cost of £54,000.
We've paid in all our adult lives
And both Universal Credit & other benefits are so low many people can’t even afford to eat & pay the bills.
Which also makes them iller.
