I teach in a high school in Florida. The kids are still getting high. They vape in the bathroom constantly, so I'm not sure how reliable this survey is.

This is terrible news. Think, the health industry will take a big hit. Stock prices will fall. Trump, RFK Jr. will certainly make a correction to this awful trend. No authoritarian government can control a healthy population.

It’s also the product of them seeing and recognizing generational trauma bc of drug and alcohol abuse/addiction. Also they are rebelling against drug/alcohol using parents by being sober. Alcohol/drug using parents of sober teens🙋🏼‍♀️

My 19-year-old son has always hated drinking, smoking and drugs. He’s a bit judgmental but I’d rather that at this stage of his life when decision-making isn’t his strong suit.

This is great. I lost many friends to addiction while still a teen. It's so easy to get hooked as a young person, you're not fully developed yet think you know everything while lacking experience and being influenced heavily by your peers.

Weed was always easier to come by than alcohol when I grew up here in the Bay.

And with legalization, there's less rebellious draw to it for sure. Hell, their own parents probably openly smoke now.
