My charcoal grill is on the way yall 🥲 I need all the best tips from my fellow grill masters, ima make baby back ribs and bbq chicken for the first time lol

- coals should take about 10-15 minutes to get properly hot (wait for them to get grey ash) and spread them evenly, if you got a big grill have one side with the hot coals and allow that other side to be where you don’t apply direct heat
- I would encourage poking the chicken wings with a knife just to ensure it can fully heat through
- be patient with getting your cook times right, your first batch may not be your best batch especially when the coals are fresh cause the heat may have not regulated
- As for grilling ribs, remove the membrane (the layer that covers the bone side) and season with a binder like mustard but anything that will help those seasons stick
- And again, be patient with them especially because it takes some time to cook ribs in comparison to chicken
I only use LUMP Wood ion my grill - no briquettes....or chemical starters...wax and sawdust starters - eat fewer chemicals- live a long live! Enjoy it! (what kind of grill did you get)
