It's really fun and one of the things I most enjoy about it is it uses something reminiscent of a class / job system which is always a big plus for me, you can make some pretty fun builds.
The level design isn't the best but the story and characters are pretty good, definitely worth a retry.
Still need to play through Gris, but otherwise, I really love Fire Emblem Echoes artwork. Too bad the in-game models are 3Ds models, lol. I also love the design of the angels in the first Bayonetta game and Mari Shimazakis work in general
I believe you're right there! For me, it's more of the direction with the artistic style that I loved with Echoes tho three houses had great designs for characters and weapons. I think both games had limitations to hardware, but I love them both dearly.
i never miss an opportunity to shout out Radiata Stories and its quirky character design and world details as one of the 10 people who like still think about the game in 2025
It's hard to pick just one. I really love the art and designs for the Mana games, and then you got stuff like Splatoon or Danganronpa that just kinda pop with so much color and style! And of course I can't forget to mention one of my all time favorites, Gravity Rush!
Ngl I’m gonna say Starbound with the Cutebound mod. It’s awesome. Too bad the devs of the game never continued to update it, only modders made anything new.
For me, it's probably the Fire Emblem GBA games! I'm a sucker for pixel art, and something about them is just so beautiful!!
Second place would be Mega Man Battle Network 4-6!! Those games are also just very pretty! :D
When I was younger I could only find Dawn, so that's what I played, but aesthetically, Dusk's deep purple/magenta/blues are so pretty to look at.
Plus Lunamon is lit
Castle crashers still leaves me wanting more even though it’s been like 15 years 😭 I just love the cartoony look it has and was fun to play on top of it
"XIII" had a unique for the time comic book, cel shaded art style. Even had the "BLAM" action words for explosions and such. "Transistor" was another I was really into.

In HLD it’s really the full package of pixel art, music, and atmosphere that brings it all together for me and it’s hard to separate all that.
Ender Lilies has an absolutely gorgeous aesthetic as well, very drab and emotive at the same time.

There are so many different games with so many different beautiful art styles
The art style was also used in Indivisible which I have played and it also looks great.
Next collection, please capcom 🙏
I'll take a peek at it!
I haven't played starbound in years, and then only vanilla o:
