it occurs to me that I don’t have a good idea what the grind was like at that time—was it powder-fine like you use for Turkish coffee? or a coarser grind similar to what we use for percolator or filter?
Did coffee first reach England in the 16th or the 17th Century? How long did it take the English to become regular coffee drinkers?
