Some people love him, some can't stand him. He's loud, quick witted, and "crude" which draws some people. He is very opinionated and tells his watchers that TDD and clean code are bad.

He is very smart, has several courses on frontend masters, but it scares me that his followers will listen too closely to his hot take opinions.

he is alright, he just doesn't try to teach people to "think" for themselves, as it's a lot easier for people to "follow" what he says than to think and reflect. not his fault tho, he is just being himself, authentic, with his character and style.

I used to be in the latter camp, but grew to like him for, well, being smart. Got used to his style, I guess.

He's extremely popular which is what matters in this case.

He seems alright, I haven't seen him do anything suspect. I think given his massive reach, and the fact that not much negativity is thrown around him is actually an extremely good endorsement in and of itself.

He seems like a good dude. But, again, I don't follow him very closely or know too much.
