If you disobey a direct order, they'll charge you with an article 15, which can be punishable with up to 15 years in federal prison.
There is no time off for good behavior,
No early parole,
And no conjugal visits in federal prison.
This was drilled into our heads in basic training every day.
Hey I hate to be this black pilled about stuff but do we have any confirmation that this is a legit hotline and not some crazy trap to make a list of personnel who aren't into obeying illegal orders?
A family member who was privy to Project 2025 discussions says that “it was understood that soldiers or guardsmen who refuse orders relating to mass deportations will face court martial, with harsh sentences.” Dishonorable discharges, he says, are the least severe outcome proposed.
I know that all civil liberties cases have been suspended. Not sure if this will affect GI issues, but I have a feeling it will. Does anyone else besides me feel like this is the beginning of The Handmaid's Tale?

(From an Army Perspective)
Article 92 and regulations revolving around following orders state multiple times that the orders must be 'lawful' in order for them to be enforceable
If an order is not lawful, the service member has no basis to obey. The order giver will get in trouble
