If you want to learn a deck, actually sit down with copies of the cards and play with them to learn their functions and syngeries.
It might be time consuming for tourney grinders, but the game is supposed to be played and enjoyed. We play games to have fun, and current day YGO forgets that.

Looking at new and old monsters with lens of them being in the DMZ, and old whacky pet cards that had no home could potentially work really well in certain DM decks!
