I’m not really sure what to do about the fact that it has become so normalized to just reject any facts people don’t like and reconstruct events to fit our preconceived ideas instead of modifying them. Happy to be corrected if I am mistaken but I feel like it wasn’t always like this. - ThreadSky

It was never like that see: Slavery/Jim Crow.The evil is just back out front again.Time to shove it back and actually be what we said we would be. Only silver lining right now:the same bad ppl who supported the above, are not hiding their evil.Our current job: refute and fight them at every level.

It feels like so much of what we encounter in the day to day has become suffused and inextricable with people’s identity that anything deviating from those conceptions is considered an affront.
