Tbh I doubt they even produced that many. They only suddenly realised the number was 160m when it became clear Switch was very much on track to beat the previous 155m, like 2 decades after the PS2 came out. 🙃

Yes, PS2 had a very healthy late life. 2009, 2010, 2011, it was still pushing about 7 million each.

The way I see it, all #Nintendo really has to do to sell a significant amount of extra #NintendoSwitch consoles is to give use more special edition designs, hopefully #Metroid or #LOZ: Windwaker/Twillight Princess-themed ones! Easy win.
