Was listening to the post Fulham pod today and remembered you and @arseblog.com discussing how we haven't seen that trio in midfield (at all?). Fingers crossed it is as good as we all hope! #COYG
He’s not meant to be an ACM though. He’s meant to control games from the midfield.
Re: first impressions, to be fair he’s had a tough start with the shoulder injury. Those breaks heal fast but can have an effect how how a player approaches a 50/50. He looks more comfortable every time he plays imo

Definitely time to look at Rice, Merino, Odegaard - it could yet prove to be our most balanced midfield.
MLS and Merino should give us more ball progression on the left - looking for Martinelli to get his head up and combine.
