I think there may be an argument to not compound last summers error by panic buying now and overpaying for what is limited availability in the market. Maybe class this season as a lesson for the summer transfer window. I’m not sure now is the time to roll the dice with trophies now unlikely.
Sorry to hear you so down…. It’s my first game at Rmirates for over 8 years on Sunday - and first time in my own (quite scary) - I just hope that we can pull something off - I just want to feel the atmosphere of support not boos or frustration.
I think Arteta's quest for complete dominance is fueled by knowledge that our attack is Saka and set peices. If we played more open with less control, maybe a good chunk of teams would just out score us. Saka is a god level creator, but he's out and we can now see we don't have a single killer
Great post and thank you for expressing the supporters frustration with the club. It is obvious that the attack is not capable of “competing for the biggest trophies”. If the club continues to tell us this line, they better build a squad like Bayern, City, Liverpool, Real, Inter etc. who can.
I said it the other day myself, this season feels like death from a thousand cuts.
This team keeps getting kicked in the spuds, from wierd one-off red cards, to massive injuries to key players, to finally a squad-wide illness crippling players
How many times can you pick yourself up and go again?
Arteta is done outchea. Think the project has stalled. Quite a shame, he hasn't been able to take the team to the summit. The attacking problems of 3 seasons ago are still there, biting harder than ever. In the same period, Arteta has focused more on defensive and midfield signings. Sad!

They know better than anyone how tight the margins are, it must be hard to keep pushing their limits when teammates are dropping like flies.
