Donald Trump has just released a national under 18 trans care ban executive order. I am working through specifically how it tries to do this, and will live tweet here section by section as I read through it.

It is not yet on the website, but has been released via press release.

I've lost 2 trans friends already and I'm increasingly feeling completely filled with despair. Nobody will come for us. Nobody will help us. We're going to get killed and people will cheer for our deaths.

The book burnings are digital. Between January 22 and January 24 the Social Security Administration website expunged all press releases, and blogs related to transgender or gender marker updates

They could have held book burnings of queer shit years ago and there would be plenty in attendance. They know the optics on that is horrible though, so instead they do effectively the same thing in the bans that are ongoing for a long while.
