Now that I’m shorn, I am getting back into wet shaving.
I could not find a single straight razor for sale in the city, so my attempt to shop local has failed.
Now I’m going to have to order online and am immersed in research.
I have found my next hyper fixation.

I've got my trusty badger brush and am quite fond of Proraso shaving soap but, my days as an Amazon Prime subscriber are numbered.
It makes a nice leather and lubricates well.
Maybe when I can take the bike (I have enough soap to last me til early summer, no rush).
I’m using my Grampa’s Rolls Razor, which is super cool.
I find it doesn’t really get as close as a straight razor does. (My old one has chips out of the blade, sadly.)

Lemme know what you find cuz, I'd like to move on from disposable blades to something more sustainable
I used to use one all the time 20 years ago or so. Up until about 10 years ago. You kind find a closer shave.
I found my old one and contacted a friend who collects them and knows how to hone them properly.
I recommend AirBus, they don’t seem to fall apart in the sky.
