Liverpool are so far ahead they're irrelevant, especially with their new blandly inoffensive (so far) manager. I've made peace with them winning the lot, as it might as well be an entirely different sport to the one we pay attention to. Muting them out of existence has certainly helped as well.

You are right about the drivel, though it is always briefly funny to trade barbs. Have met lots of great Everton fans but always been amused by the depth of the enmity some have for NUFC (it was there in the mid-90s so predates Gordon, punching horses or even Gary Speed).
