I was born in Calgary. Lived here most of my life and raised 4 kids. What I like the most is the common sense most Albertans have. The rest of Canada seem to like to given the liberal soother while the country rots. Things will change, either thoughtfully or by self destruction

We live in a CANADA that was built by the Liberal party in spite of the Conservatives.

The PCs have used their time to dismantle the country that was built for every Canadian.

Unfortunately the youth and much of Gen Z didn't experience enough of that history. Educate them!

When I was young my family would travel from California to see my aunt and uncle in Alberta. They lived on a ranch halfway between Calgary and Edmonton. Great summer days for a young boy.
Fishing with my uncle.
Traveling to see Banff.

Moved here as a kid... left in my early 30s & just came back at age 60. I have always loved the province and even voted Conservative up until Harper's 2nd election. I stayed center-left & watched as politics took a right. Voting Carney & hoping he wins a few seats so Premier Smith gets a wake up.

1. The most progressive woman I have ever known, my Mom, grew up in Fort McMurray. In the 30's she worked the farm, won barrel racing championships. Had her own model T which she drove by herself to UC Berkeley to get her MA. Married a dick. Drove to Reno and worked as a shill to afford a divorce.

2. Drove back to Canada alone. Became the first female editor of a magazine. Had 6 chlidren, ran her own Art Gallery. Her mother was a suffragette. Warned all and sundry about the dangers of Manning and reform. Alberta breeds a special brand of strong progressive women of which you are one.
