Open is a very small word for your ability as an artist. May your time overflow with commissions and open will turn to 'available for' and then to busily blessed! Amazing skills π
Gonna be honest, I nearly thought this was mixed media with penciled details around a sculpted face. The depth is crazy. I swear he could turn and look the other way any second now.
I tried, I really did. I bought my daughter a Les Paul , on Les Paul Ave., in Les Paulβs hometown for her 18th birthday.
I messed with it every day she was in school, my fingers wonβt do that
Whitefish Bay! It's adjacent to Shorewood, north of the city of Milwaukee. So about an hour to an hour and a half north of Racine I think? I have a coworker that drives all the way from Lake Geneva which is a bit further away
Love it, especially your choice of his focal point, which adds an extra dynamic to the portrait. You haven't put a name, so I am going to risk this and ask: is this a young Bob Dylan?
Iβve never been a fan of canvas. I hate the flex. Iβm a bit too clumsy and heavy-handed for paper.
It takes pencil, marker and paint beautifully. Itβs cheap as hell and you can just cut it to size. The texture is very similar to manila paper. You can sand your mistakes! I find it perfect.
I also like your photography skill. I like the composition and the positioning of all the items, the lighting and the colors. Great drawing and a good photo to showcase it.
Visual arts require an understanding of composition and visual stuff. I hope to finish my photography certificate one day and one of the elective requirements is drawing! Cell phones make photography easier since you bypass the need to know how to use a camera. Just your good eye ππ
See, to me thatβs impressive. I am hopeless with anything that involves string or yarn, that stuff knots itself when I attempt anything. Lol.
Iβm one of those people that get caught on everything even if I donβt have pockets.
Thatβs beautiful !
You donβt start drawing because youβre good at it, you draw because you love to draw. And just like anything else if you do it enough times, youll get better at it.
Actually, Iβm gonna fill you in on a little secret. Itβs actually the perfect drawing surface. Itβs much cheaper than a canvas.
And you can sand it when you fuck up.
