This shouldn't need saying but what is wrong for one club can be right for another. Manchester United very obviously don't have the organisational competence or culture to fix themselves in the market. I struggle to see any evidence of that at Arsenal.

Of course but the same problems are there at City despite the money they've spent. Arsenal have struggled to sign attacking players for years for various reasons, not least that the right options simply aren't out there. It takes more to create a good attack than just demanding "Spend money".

Again plenty of City's problems come from refusing to spend money to replace players they've let go. As for Arsenal, Mikel Arteta and Edu acknowledged last season that what they lacked against Bayern was individual magic. They seem to believe the solution lies in the transfer market but you do you.
