Silence to me is unnerving, I need back ground noise just to relax. Probably due to growing up in a city and always hearing sounds even at night. But yes, I listen to music every single day.
Absolutely, Iβm an avid listener to music but sometimes I have to cut it off cause it starts to be too much. A lot of my coworkers agree that we drive home in silence cause our day is so loud and fast paced already π
silence is a beautiful thing. I listen the music almost every day because I practice almost every day, but I grow most on the silent days. The silence is enlightening, it grants perspective. Although, sometimes my ears grow lonely!
Super fair, I'll actually have random times where suddenly sound gets overstimulating and I need to stop everything I'm doing just to chill lol. Otherwise I need something playing all the time
I'm the other way around. If I am in silence my mind wanders and I don't focus well on the road. I'm pretty sure I'd get in way more accidents if I drove without music.
Hello. I'm slightly on the autism spectrum, and as such, I find a lot of noise (especially from many sources) overwhelming. Last nightI took my first class is BSL (British Sign Language), and as the entire class was almost silent for the 2 hour period, I was astonished at how easy I found focusing
I wear my noise-cancelling headphones all the time when out as where I live is so loud in places that it's unbearable. Sometimes I'll leave it silent, but most times I'll be listening to music or an audiobook.
this is so crazy to me the only time i enjoy silence is when im in theaters even at night i have music or a tv playing, the only times i only get overstimulated is when there's multiple different sound be it music or people talking

So where are you from
I go in and out of how hard Iβm focusing on whatβs on, but having it on will almost always help me stay more on-task
