When I canceled my service, I told them the reason was Fox News. They said, “You can just block the channel.” I said, “That’s not the point. I’m not giving money to a company that carries Fox News.”

Some have suggested Fox News would lose a large share of its audience and an even larger share of its revenue if cable providers unbundled their menus and allowed each channel to be chosen independently by subscribers. Why should subscribers' fees help pay for channels they dislike?
