Outback Steakhouse in West Des Moines was the last restaurant I was in forever. Drinking a 25oz Fosters while the local news assures me there’s no COVID in Iowa. watched a guy on a date order a flight of margaritas served on a boomerang.

Late February 2020 I was flying to visit friends in KC and semi-jokingly I wondered if I needed to wear a respirator on the flights. People did. And 2 weeks later everything stopped.
