I haven't seen those types of booklet things in decades. I remember they used to be everywhere when I was a kid. All fire and brimstone.

Weirdest place I ever got handed one of those was in Leipzig, Germany, during the 2024 Wave Gothik Treffen festival, by a woman doing her best to pretend to be a Goth and really not quite getting it. It was not the fun German music zine I was expecting. #wgt

I used to do that too when I lived in the Bible Belt but I’ve only come across them once since moving to Northern Virginia and to be honest it’s much nicer here.

I’m in LA and Koreatown is full of them. Bus stops, crosswalk buttons, park benches. I want to make my own comics and hide them around town.
