That's part of it, but fascists also think that oppressive social hierarchies represent merit & natural superiority. They think that if men have power that's because of merit, & if women do that's because of an unfair manipulation of the system, for example (this also applies to race, poverty, etc.)

The disabled activists of old canvassed, raised awareness, but when time came to push, they chained themselves to doorsteps, even hijacked buses. In the end, many had to fall back onto violent, systemic disruptions to achieve their aims. We gotta do something.

The irony that a lot more of us actually COULD work if anyone would actually hire us and follow accommodation laws. But they don't. And, at the end of the day, there are still people who couldn't work even WITH accommodations and they deserve to live and thrive just as much as anyone else.
