Stopped posting there a couple of months back. Am discouraged that many of the good accounts had fleeting dabbles here, and returned to the gaze of fascism. People need to walk away. Same with Facebook. 😞

Me too. I was so happy to see many familiar faces come over, but very few stayed. I don’t quite understand the allure to go back there unless it’s just the view count (something which you don’t get here?). I think the reach there is dwindling & the views are likely falsely inflated anyways.

Yes I’m aware, and I’m looking at alternatives. Unfortunately for me there’s no option that won’t cost me money as I’m not charging for my newsletter. Other sites will make you paywall OR pay them, and as a disabled writer I’m not able to pay. I really hope alternatives become available!

For me it’s tough because I had to have someone set it up for me (I wasn’t able to do it myself) and right now I would have to stop publishing entirely as I have nowhere to move to. I know a number of disabled writers in the same boat. Certainly encourage anyone who can afford to move to do so!
