In a “having trouble enjoying video games” slump lately. So many things I want to play/continue playing, but I just can’t find the motivation. Anyone else experience this? Got tips or tricks to overcome it??

Engaging with other art or practicing some of your own for a while usually helps me rekindle the spark. I find the slumps happen when there are an overwhelming number of games I want to play, and engaging with other forms helps me come back to a space where I know what/why I want to engage with.
I would say just accept the slump and do something different. Think about what you want to do and what your drawn to. Maybe a book or TV series or another hobby. Or, look over your games and see what calls to you? But there's no point forcing yourself if you're not in the mood.
My suggestion is to go and play anything that doesn’t contribute to a purpose, but it’s something to come back to for the sake of it. You can try demos, going back and replaying old musts, go for online games, and eventually you’ll get back your itch to play.
I often find that the slumps come with a sense of duty, of “having to play X game to catch up/clear my backlog/know what people are talking about” kind of purpose, which is fine to have sometimes, but which can also stop you right on your tracks when it gets out of hand (too many games).
I've experienced that kind of burnout too. I've stepped away from gaming for a few days and done something else like read a book, put together a puzzle, build Lego, bake something, and then I'll feel that motivation come back.
Is there anything else sapping your attention? I’m starting to come out of a similar slump and I found that personally, I was staring at YouTube way too much, so I stopped using it outright months ago. If there’s anything like that in your life, replacing that non-activity with gaming might help!
