Remember, creating art is a skill that has to be learned. It takes time, practice, and patience, so never beat yourself up or be disheartened if what you've put on your canvas isn't exactly what you pictured in your head! (1/2)

it took me a lot of years to learn this(finaly started to draw 1,5 year ago and I'm 30), I still occasionaly get frustrated but I'm so happy that I've reached a point where I can just enjoy the process <3 (still have the executive disfunction that is a pain but that's a whole other kind of beast x))
Glad to hear all that Marie! As much as art can be a pain, it can also be such a joy 💜 and the great thing with art is there is no time frame, and there's no specific age in which to pick it up, art is for everyone and all ages for whoever wants to pursue it! 😊
I feel like barely seeing things in my head is actually an advantage sometimes. Aphantasia means it makes no sense to use those fuzzy abstract visuals as a basis.
But yeah, it takes a lot of patience. I'm not great right now and it takes quite a lot to start a drawing. Yet I continue.
Patience is definitely key! And everyone goes at their own pace with it. It's great that you continue regardless! Definitely the right attitude to have with art ^-^
