They all knew they needed to keep it together, so they fell back to muscle memory and put on the show.

Too many people are greedy. Also, the show would have been vilified if she or anyone in the show fell apart not completing it. Damned either way, so she chose her way.

Hahaha... Big TV had Ammir... Computer divided into 3 windows... 1 Ammir 2 TessDear 3 Bluesky Ipad available for texting. Would take snapshots at certain points of stream to keep as memory. It was really ridiculous. 🫶

That’s what I thought too. Everyone saying she was going to announce X was hoping she would just keep it as a celebration of the music and memories of the event. She recognized all the talent that worked with her, the fans and our shared memories of the event. Felt she really honored the experience

I had that same thought last night! It was all about the tour and the work and time that went into that, not any other project. It was fitting to just soak up every moment of the fundamentals of what they/we created together.
