Having Ethernet as a backup (or even primary) is so important.
Don't go all in on wireless, especially if you live in an apartment or other high density location.
Buying a more powerful AP yourself makes the experience worse for others, too.

I understand the removal of ethernet, because the port is now taller than the laptop is thick in total.
The important thing is matching up the version/capabilities name.
if you're just talking about plain USBC to USBC cables, yes. I agree.
Much faster than sound comes from the mouse click to your ears remote computer can already respond to that click and send 10MB.
I'm no professional youtuber
Not even to the net... And even so, you're dependent on the other end being able to give 1gb back
Most don't need that speed tho, even among a fleet of devices
Like, you can do IP over Infiniband (RFC-4391) or IP over Fibrechannel (RFC-4338) and it's still wired, just not Ethernet.
Also, technically what everyone calls an ethernet cable is a CAT-5/5e/6 cable that you use plug into ethernet devices to carry ethernet frames. You can use the same CAT-6 cable for non-ethernet uses.
But literally none of these distinctions matter for people who don't already know about them
I didn't know TMobile offered general internet! that's cool
Copper > Air.
I'd prefer concrete, for safety and fire protection, tbh
I have something like that setup for my work wifi.
it can't see anything on my home network
I will probably stick with my WiFi though. More affordable, and does exactly what I need without issue.
Doubly so if you can put terminals near their own power.
I only want to reserve POE for cameras and access points.
Short range power injection, per device.

even easier on the higher bands
It's Wifi 6E that uses 6Ghz
(but also all the lower bands)
Hope they get decent Internet soon
Tbh for work scenarios most people should be using ethernet or a powerline adapter.
Wifi is... essentially a wireless form of cabling lol
(Last time I worked for him, and the time before that we were peers.)
I have traditional cable Internet coming into a cable modem and WiFi 6 router in the central room of the main floor of the house. It's $30 per month. House is just under 800 square feet plus finished basement.
No interference simplifies a lot.
If we still lived in an apartment building I would be in a bad way.
One that do motion events aren't the worst but multiple always-on wifi cameras ensure that wifi traffic is not smooth.
Get wired cameras if you want always-on cameras.
I'm planning full surround outdoor camera coverage for my next house.
But doorbell cameras don't have Ethernet :(
So, an least one needs to be on wifi
neat
Maybe that was internet download/upload.
Need to figure out where LAN traffic is
Wireless should only be used when wires aren't available. If describing your home? Run some wire & fix it!
You'll be infinitely happier. And never stream over WiFi. That's terrible.
It has very good line of sight performance
Do you know what it’s called?
WiFi is for smart home stuff and other lower class network nodes.
What all do you use the Ethernet for?
