I went to Oregon in 1985 on a school exchange trip with a school in Lake Oswego. My homestay family took me to Canon Beach and it rained. And rained. And rained. And I bought a souvenir T-shirt saying "It barely rains at Canon Beach"!

I did my own little trip out to Canon beach back in Nov 2022 while I was out working nr Portland. I’m from the UK and to see this and the Goonies locations in Astoria was the best experience ever.
