Since I cancelled my sub I’m going through my library and doing a lot of catch up. At the moment enjoying Andy Serkis read the Fellowship of the Ring. I also enjoy Wil Wheaton’s narration and Kaiju Preservation Society was a fun listen.

If you like a scifi whodunit then The Spare Man written & performed by Mary Robinette Kowal- I especially love that everyone is a Mx. (rather than Ms/Mr) until they say otherwise & the service dog is the cutest!

The Water Outerlaws is a dynamic LGBTQ+ and female centric wuxia (a classical chinese martial arts fantasy genre) story with some great voice acting narrating. Lots of drama, adventure, and comedy!

My #1 is always world war z. My favorite audio book. Specifically, I enjoy the audiobook more than the paper book. Look at the cast, because it has a full cast.

I'm currently a little over halfway through The Invisible Life of Addie Larue, and I'm loving it! The story is engrossing and the narrator does a great job.

Nophek Gloss by Essa Hansen. Space opera with some of the best trans representation I've seen in sci-fi. The author is a sound designer, and the audiobook surprised me in the best way.

I did love the Dresden Files narration by James Marsters.
And I do have a soft spot for the narration of the Wheel of Time by Paul Woodson(sic?) from the late 90s.
I think he also did some Valdemar books like Exile's Honor

Hobnah Holdbrook-Smith's narration of the Rivers of London books really bring them to life. He also did Ursula k LeGuin's Earthsea books.
