Agreed, but things I’ve been looking at suggest these selections aren’t about most qualified for that position, it’s been about destroying gov’t. norms of what it supposed to look like. And these picks are exactly what “Republicans” are messaging.

The public perception of "smart" isn't the concern. The task is to find people who will get the job done. Dismantling a unilateral, highly corrupt and wasteful government complex is the goal.
