@jackyakovich.bsky.social this explains America right now. Except there should be a lot more dead in the 2nd photo. All to pay for board of directors and executives mega yachts.
This doesn’t mean just healthcare insurance.
See this as a warning to all up and coming financial services CEO’s, that rob people of their hard earned life savings.
I have been saying that the executives that jacked the price of insulin and other meds - and people died for the lack of those meds - needed to face manslaughter charges (at the very least).
Our “capitalistic“ business system creates and rewards psychopaths.
Amen. Somewhere in some boardroom of a company, someone approved $700 insulin. Currently, there is no way to hold them accountable for preventable deaths.
preventable and instigated by the arbitrary price increase… foreseeable reckless action that results in death is manslaughter. Seems like it should be able to treated and prosecuted as criminal …
Nobody wants murder. Insurance companies murder people every day by denying basic diagnostic treatments, surgeries and other procedures, and medications. Meanwhile, they take our money and make each other richer. It is so hard to feel sympathy for someone that must have no empathy.
Executions happen in NYC all the time, yet the UHC CEO one seems to be getting significantly more resources applied to identifying the murderer. What’s the difference? 🤷🏻♂️
When for-profit companies, whose mission is to maximize profit, are in charge of basic human needs (ex. health care/pharmaceuticals, energy, etc...) we can be sure that the"good of the people" won't be a priority. Violence against one person or one company won't solve that problem in our society.
Accurate. The "Mens Rea" aspect of a crime is the intent vs "Actus Reus" (outcome). When delaying and denying a claim: really is an ingrained strategy -- e.g., delay treatment for lethal cancer by a month etc. Strategy becomes tantamount to willful intent in terms of mens rea. I.e., Murder.
Gun violence. Shot in the back. Vigilante justice. Execution/death penalty. Aren't we supposed to be against these things or has it become a race to the bottom?
Off w and pike their heads, let them rot in the streets. Hang & quarter the fiends; publicly. Burn em at the stake; publicly. Sell tickets. Maybe rent out a coliseum. Peasants cheer on with picks and hoes. Send them to the rack until they pay up insurance claims. What the Hell is going on here?
Unfortunately/fortunately? I have UHC as my insurance carrier. And while I’m glad they cover my Crohn’s injections, I have had so many denials on other meds I needed for gastrointestinal issues-and EVERY. DAMN. ONE. was denied.
Procedures needed to try (TRY) to diagnose a still yet undiagnosed extreme feet pain are considered “investigative”. Aren’t all things “investigative” when trying to diagnose the problem?

All I read about the american health care industry leads me to thinking they kill people intentionally.

There needs to be a whole crowd of dead people at his feet in the second panel
Yes. Murder.
I would suggest that "$" is the difference on both ends of the attention spectrum.
The other greed
