Then it should be kept on, as there are many benefits to these consults for the disabled, the elderly and rural/remote patients who can consult at home without going in if that's not necessary. This also keeps wait times down as minor issues can be addressed without going to the clinic itself.

Since its implementation during C19, this expansion of Medicaid has been set to expire previously but got extended. Like many gov programs, it has to be extended by Congress. It’s not a set-it-and-forget-it. This administration is not going to allow it to continue though it has the ability to do so

Maybe telehealth is expiring, but it could be reviewed and revised. It's really useful for the disabled and elderly who thus don't have to travel to physical offices for everything, and for rural families who have better access to consultations. It also keeps waiting room times shorter.
