My step grandfather was a WW2 vet who's job was to drive his campervan around Oregon and check in on all the vets in rural areas. To make sure they got all their paperwork done etc for whatever they needed.
He drove wherever. This use to exist to ASK everyone in person. Vet to Vet

I did hear Schumer’s reason for voting for the plan today. He was worried that if the government closed, they might now allow some of the departments to reopen once the government is up and running again. Also, the President can choose with departments are vital and can stay open. He was (1/2)

My friend's husband a vet just found out last weel he has some cancer. They haven't even heard what sort of treatment he will need yet. I hope this don't put them under financially.
