Sex is multifactorial.

There's genes, chromosomes, hormones, morphology, and neurology.

The very basic explanation of trans people is that they have a mental sex that doesn't match their sex assigned at birth.

Disagree. I chose to be trans. I would make that choice again and again and again! Why? There is absolutely nothing wrong with being trans and it completes me. Relying on "born this way" we concede on trans being a lesser state that we can't help due to our birth. Nothing wrong with choosing trans.

I find it important to tell cis people that literally everyone experiences gender dysphoria. Need bigger muscles to feel like a man? Dysphoria! Need to wear makeup every day? Dysphoria! After that, it's not much of a stretch to imagine that someone's gender dysphoria could not match their AGAB.
