T'was the night ere semester
And all through the campus
An ominous feeling
Crept in like the Krampus
The academics waited emails with dread
As nightmares of grading replayed in their head
Their teaching was ready (or sort of, or not)
With hope students wouldn't ignore what they taught 😬
