A Friday night Sazerac to soothe my soul 😌 Cognac, Peychaud's Bitters, Angostura Bitters (added by accident but they didn't hurt), a generous spray of absinthe, and a bit of sugar. Away to write my cousin's wedding card now. Imbibing liquor makes the writing slicker! (I hope)

We're being told to 'embrace AI' left right and centre by higher-ups who feel that this is a necessary transition because they saw a few LinkedIn posts about it. How can we truly educate when we're forced to use AI tools that are there to eliminate knowledge acquisition for profit!? 🤮

I’ve mentioned this here before but people aren’t treating AI like a tool or even a religion (that latter one has been the theme of not a small amount cultural commentary). They’re treating AI like an IDENTITY.
