You could reach across the aisle to a Romney or McCain. He was the first. He was biracial and mostly raised by his white grandparents. His civility and call for bipartisanship was decent. Also, those Congressmen were different behind the scenes.

Sorry, wrong. Obama was the biggest FIRST and Only that we've had. He had to deal w/ Republican Racists while still being the President for everyone.
