Are they looking to change fields if they can’t get into exactly the same area? Those are really great data analysis and planning skills that a lot of major industries need.

In the meantime, watching everything useful be gutted is hard to wrap my head around.

Actually the private sector probably needs to grow at a pace that fast or faster. There definitely a painful dislocation right now, I’m hoping the talent hurt by this can ride through and find those highest and best use opportunities.
