The only way that would work would also involve leaving the Refugee Convention, plus all international maritime and human rights treaties, to start with. Those who support leaving ECHR to "secure borders", never mind fact that, if you look beyond a few Telegraph, Daily Mail rage bait headlines, it doesn't prevent majority of deportations, need to at least be honest what they mean is they've no issue with people being sent to face torture and death 2/

+1; the Conservatives don't want to leave the ECHR because of migrants: they want to leave because they can't stomach having to be held accountable for the rights of others when they make policy.
