Even though the source is a Billionaire, this is a good idea in general. Yes, the legislation will be killed. But you introduce it very LOUDLY. Just like Republicans do when they introduce batshit stuff that never actually passes (except they do it over and over until it does).

Of course. But being the party standing up for those fired will mean a lot to those fired and their families. It will also show the country that they are trying to bring order to chaos. And if they can get any Republican support at all, that's huge leverage for March 14
