Imagine being a small business with debt, that you used to import products you had manufactured in china. In the time it took to make the products, tariffs were added, that more than doubled your cost. They are crushed Are there any states offering support for their businesses ?

Not a single word to help the 33m small businesses in this country. Not from anyone in the administration. So many buy from China, and don't have alternatives. So many didn't have the cash to front run the tariffs and buy inventory

Trump's tariffs are the Ivermectin of economic strategy #EconSky

Elections have consequences

What some people aren’t factoring into their analysis is the reality that companies were buying tons of inventory to beat the tariffs. That’s cash taken from being able to invest or hire. In fact the probably cut costs and jobs as a result. #econsky

‘Specialty drugs’ might be unique, but access should not be special - why? Needing a specialty medication shouldn’t mean jumping through hoops or facing unpredictable pricing. We believe access to life-changing medications should be simple, direct, and free from hidden fees! ➡️ costplusdrugs.com ⬅️

They're eating the 401ks! They're eating the Social Security! They're eating the retirements of the people who live here!

All I’m saying is that President Harris wouldn’t have us looking at the futures market on a Sunday night.

THIS IS WHAT A TRADE WAR LOOKS LIKE -

This is what the money being added to Border Patrol will be used for.

Free Trade, zero tariffs Elon vs Full Tariff Trump is going to be interesting to watch. The stakes are enormous for the American People Who comes out on top ? I think unfortunately for the economy, in this case , it's Trump.

That's not good for basketball.

Best case he turns off Apr 2nd tariffs Monday. Leaves the 10pct tariffs (not great, but realistic). Elon leaves Doge, which decides to stagger the cuts over 3 yrs, accounting for local impact. That slows the economy, reducing interest rates, reducing payments on debt to affordable levels.

Tariffs grounded Pittsburgh's aerospace deals. #econsky

If these tariffs stick, it’s going to be ugly for Amazon , but incredible for all the American sellers

If the new tariffs stay in place for multiple years, and are enforced and inflationary, and DOGE continues to cut and fire , we will be in a far worse situation than 2008

I am pissed. If you want change, you talk to smart people who can come up with better solutions. Which is why I ask questions on here When we come up with better solutions , it makes the guy in the WH look bad and hopefully gets people to rethink who they support

1 more #econsky. What about #tariff-buyouts to foreign countries. Let them buy down their tariff rate with a one time payment = to their tariff receipts from USA goods ? That goes right to deficit and debt reduction. Just spit balling along for feedback. Good or bad

This is super smart Steve. Wish I had thought of it first ! Stocks have been crushed. The next trump move is uncertain. Best move ? Buy back stock. No question about it

Robert Wolf on Fox News: "This big beautiful economy that actually was rolling pretty good with jobs and inflation coming down feels more like the Game of Thrones red wedding. I mean, it's not going well."

There are 32m small businesses in the USA

There are 33m companies in the USA. Only 21k employe 500 or more. And they only make up 23% of workers. Trump and Elon are ignoring the more than 32m entrepreneurs that can't afford to build a new factory or pay tariffs or absorb cancelled contracts.

Any farmers out there that can speak to whether they can get info for planting season ? Or loans to help them get through this ? Are federal offices open to even process loan requests ?

The lack of intellectual rigor in an attempt to reset the global trading system and valuation of the dollar is what’s truly troubling about all of this. It’s all ad-hoc absent any substantive strategy. #Econ #Econsky
