Cool people liked when I posted some 90s style CGI the other day, so here's a bit more
Made this in lovely Bryce 3D, for a woozy dream pop kinda track

The latter is Bryce 7 Pro, from the Daz website (usually about $20, occasionally even cheaper in sales)

(Render times are still brutal)
It was (and still is) a cheap reverb unit that punches waaaayyy above its weight
Kevin Shields of My Bloody Valentine made it super popular for a bit, and it still rules
Can't shake the feeling that someone massive will do a YouTube video about exactly this and then the price of units like the MVII will skyrocket
It's stacked with swimmy tracks for twilight malaise, and it's on Bandcamp with the rest
90% off my full discog too, from ambient chill to horny jazz fusion, just for you π

Like, I've got a fairly beefy PC and even short stuff like this takes HOURS in Bryce. You can mitigate it a bit, but it's rough.
In terms of animation, if you're even slightly experienced with keyframes etc it's pretty straightforward, if a bit cumbersome.
I might give this a go on my Mac via wine and see what I can do. Thanks again!
There are some very decent YouTube tutorials floating about too.
Lots of 80s influences on this for sure, I meant 90s in the sense that I literally used software from the 90s for it
