I think that's an eloquent way to define this, quote tweet guy's frustration is that we should all be chefs and never cooks
but like, you never make any food that way
and maybe that's cope because I myself am a professional artist who doesn't really have or want some boldly unique voice, but I have seen and will say that you can enjoy a totally happy long career without one
the world needs and runs on rank and file creatives who make solid decisions drawing from pools of other work, and it can still be emotional and meaningful and _good_ even when it is within the existing space
