I feel lucky that most of the people I’ve encountered in this hobby are of like mind. It definitely sucks that my demographic though is one that probably screams “Conservative” to someone who doesn’t know me.

I definitely get running counter to folks that look like me. Being openly left and humanist in the deep south has never been easy for me. Love the post. The confederate flag has always held a special place of hatred in my heart. Yeah I’ve always steered clear of twitter.

I’m always happy to see you run your mouth man. I worked at a toy store for a few years, just left recently, it was heartbreaking to hear the opinions of alot of fellow collectors. Guys that worship Luke and Spider-man, collect joes ect.

It made me really hesitant to go to cons for a long while.

I was always glad you kept that one pinned. Like, the only time we've actually come close to a group overthrowing (and probably executing?) the government, and so many just shrug it off. Imagine if like "Red Dawn" had really happened and people moved on like a month later.

I still can't believe I watched it happen live and looked around as people did everything they could to pretend it didn't. Believing every conspiracy fed to them online instead of what they actually witnessed.

I still can't figure out how people don't realize how close those people came to being able to go to the next step of, well, the obvious ultimate and final acts of violence. And I'm frankly afraid to even look up whether it's already a foregone conclusion that they're all about to be pardoned.
