I am ready. And we need to all severely limit spending to essentials only not just on 2/28 but on all days. Take the surplus you didn't spend in cash and hold on to it. I also would like to see another blackout day before 3/15.

We live this way all the time, except gas, so we can't personally make a big impact -- but you should! Most days we only buy coffee at a local shop and pick up a few groceries at an IGA.

I would encourage folks to stock up for a few days. A 1-day boycott is great, but only a start. If you need gas over a week or so, buy an extra can at the gas station. Need groceries? Stock up. If you do need to shop, shop hyper local or 2nd hand. No big box, no big corp, local and long-term.

Unfortunately the only thing they listen to is money and that power is in our hands. I would also encourage folks to participate in mutual aid during their boycott if they are able - loads of people cannot boycott big corps as small businesses are pushed out.

I do this EVERYDAY. No Amazon, no Audible, don't shop at Whole Foods, no Walmart, off Twitter, off FB, ....
I look at "Open Secret" before I buy from a company to see what they support. This website lists political donations of individuals and orgs.
