If you are missing a check, visit the local office of your Congress person. Talk with a staffer. Bring copies of correspondence, records of phone calls, etc. This works and will be more effective than you trying to work the problem by yourself.

The nearest walk-in office for my father would take him over an hour to drive to if he had questions. I’d say he could stop there when he’s at the VA hospital but since that’s getting slashed too and it’s already hard to get an appt I guess he’s just screwed…and MAGA is just fine with that.
