The change is so large it is most likely natural disturbances. Fine. Then the fantastic foresters will presumably change management to adjust to the new normal of increased disturbances? If they are the ambassadors of the forest?

I am also concerned about the decreasing carbon sinks in forests. Management practices likely need to change to adapt to a changing climate, which may result in lower production but create more resilient trees. However, this will take time.
