Respected historians do not fixate on IQ numbers, we only recognize that evil people are often intelligent and that's how they carry out atrocities. Also, I've just learned that my IQ is higher than Elon Musk 🤣

In Silicon Valley and academia I’ve met a bunch of people who otherwise profess pretty good politics who believe in IQ like it’s a religion. It always makes me wonder whether we really believe anything in common at all

anyway, I'm using that big dick energy of mine to argue against these ideas in education. there's a great Todd May quote that draws from Rancière about how, unless we are profoundly broken, we all have enough intelligence to learn to live good lives together.
