Going to miss seeing Justin Trudeau on the world stage. One of the last people that was around during the Obama era before stuff got crazy. Seemed like a really good dude. Thanks for being a good neighbor all these years!

He was and election interference in the form of a maga smear campaign of lies, ended the career of a great prime minister, praying election fraud and vote machine manipulation like the US election doesn’t get PP elected, mini Canadian doncon puppet
Thanks. I can’t believe I’m saying this because it is so outrageous, but there may be a day in the not too distant future that we may have to take you up on that.
I'll never forgive him for lying about electoral reform but certainly our prospects for the future of our government are looking kind of dire right now (because of the electoral reform lies, mostly).
He didn't lie. He was advised against it.
For the record there have been referendums on reform provincially that didn't pass.
Not everyone agrees with it.
Interesting that the leadership election was with ranked ballots.
He absolutely lied. He was elected on the promise of ending first-past-the-post. It's irrelevant that he was "advised against it". The voters advised him to do it, and he reneged. We wouldn't have to worry about Poilievre selling us out if Trudeau had done the one thing we elected him to do.
And now look where we are. Nazis to the South. A Nazi is polling to take a majority government with a minority of the votes. Trudeau had the opportunity to prevent disaster and decided to do fuck all. If Poilievre forms a government with a small fraction of the vote it's Trudeau's fault.
Look, at least you are able to hold an election in a matter of months not years. You now have a Prime Minister that seems to care a lot for Canada and is under the age of 70. The biggest take away is that your guy didn't come from a Walmart clearance aisle like ours did.
When he is gone, such meaningful skillsets will be miss really.
He served his country over the years, well and is a benchmark example of great leadership without the arrogance & ignorance coming from his engagements.
Isaiah, thanks for saying this. Justin is not perfect(only one was), but he always opted for the best for Canada and Canadians.
Justin and Barack had a great relationship.
Sadly, Dumpster could do the same, but he doesn't! Arse!
As a Canadian who is pretty far left of our PM,I will miss him too! I may not have ever voted for his party, but facts matter, and the facts are that Trudeau was the most progressive, and frankly the best PM of my lifetime. I thought he would be a lite version of Harper, but I can admit I was wrong!
He had quite a run, but in the end, he performed the one final, great duty required of any democratically elected person: he stepped down gracefully and made room for another. You can't emphasize this enough these days.
I never did quite understand the online 'hate' for Trudeau. Sure there may have been policy problems, what government doesn't have that, but it seemed like he had become toxic and unpopular recently. But from the outside looking in, he seemed stable and charismatic. Did I miss anything?
The vast majority of Canadians disagree. He was wholly the reason for the Liberal party’s dramatic fall in the polls, threatening to almost wipe out the party’s official status in parliament. He has single-handedly increased Canada’s debt exponentially.
I am certain Justin Trudeau will still be on the world stage. His experience is invaluable at this stage. But now, he is freed from nasty Cancervatives attacks. He will have an incredible future ahead of him.
🔴⚪️🔴 Here’s a touching tribute to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, whose successor will be announced today. I’m an American but I grew up for a time in Ontario, and have a fondness for Trudeau père et fils.
Aw, don't write him off so quickly. He's turned into a great statesman. I expect to see him on the world stage as President of the United Nations or something.
Trudeau is a good dude, the best of the best. We were so fortunate to have such a kind, smart, leader for ten years. He was brought down by disinformation, but he will go down in Canadian history as a great leader. 🇨🇦 #ThankYouTrudeau
Well, I’m sure you won’t make a big deal out of what the Conservatives say. Canada used to be a lot more shifted to the left. The Democrats used to remind me of Canadian Conservatives. Unfortunately, Canada has also shifted the right, and 77 million voting Americans have chosen fascism.

Unlike Obama, I don’t think he is going to disappear.
And I hope my Canadian brothers know if they’re in a fight, I’d stand with them. Even against my own govt.
Watch his interview with John Stewart on the daily show.
